The American Wigeon was first counted in 1944 (count year 45) and the latest data we have is in 2011 (count year 112). It has been tallied 69 times in 23 locations. A total of 206 birds have been counted. The highest count was 41 birds enumerated in LaCrosse-LaCrescent in 2001.
