The Red-breasted Nuthatch was first counted in 1916 (count year 17) and the latest data we have is in 2011 (count year 112). It has been tallied 1,717 times in 119 locations. A total of 30,698 birds have been counted. The highest count was 748 birds enumerated in Duluth in 2009.
