LET A CBC BORROW YOU THIS SEASON! This season includes 13 days on which more than 70 individual Christmas Bird Count areas were conducted throughout Minnesota. Remote areas like Isabella, or the Beltrami Island State Forest – where one can bird the entire day without seeing or hearing another vehicle. Metro areas like Bloomington or Excelsior – where you might not even have to leave your own neighborhood. Areas of such scenic beauty like Tamarac NWR, Itasca State Park, or Grand Marais – where you might be so captivated by the beauty that you may decide to stay a while longer. Simple, rural areas like Warren, Morris, or Albert Lea – where you’d be surprised to learn how many early winter bird species can be found.
