There are still many Eagles flying over Hastings in the downtown area.
Also, many Double-crested Cormorants and Great Blue Herons today at Lake
Rebecca in Hastings. We also observed the Perigrine Falcon (only saw one)
in its usual spot at the railroad bridge along the Mississippi River in
Hastings. At the 140th Street Marsh we observed an American Woodcock
crossing the road very slowly bobbing and rocking its body as it did so.
That was an exciting life bird for my Husband and I and we really enjoyed
watching its behavior!
