This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, December 27th 2007.

At least one BARROW'S GOLDENEYE is still being seen on the Mississippi
River near Point Douglas, Washington County, as is the adult male
HARLEQUIN DUCK.

A GREAT GRAY OWL was found by Greg Seegert on the 24th in the Sax-Zim
Bog along the McDavitt Road, two and a half miles north of St. Louis
County Road 28. And on the 23rd he found an AMERICAN THREE-TOED
WOODPECKER and two BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKERS along the Hedbom Forest Road
in Aitkin County. This was half a mile west of the St. Louis County
line.

Sparky Stensaas reported a SNOWY OWL on the 22nd along Airport Road in
Duluth near Cirrus Design. Another was found by Karlyn Eckman on the
21st as it flew over the south end of the Raymond Avenue bridge in Saint
Paul.

A TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was still in Two Harbors, Lake County, on the
21st, at 1st Street and 4th Avenue. On the 23rd, another was found by
John and Ann Mathisen at the small condominium at 913 Rako Street in
Bemidji, St. Louis County.

And several BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were in Pine City, Pine County on the
22nd, near the junction of Tigua and Midriver Road, just west of I-35.

The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday, January 3rd 2008.
