   Birding in St Louis Co. on the "Range".
   Went to the Embarrass Rice Paddies, Biwabik Sewage ponds and other  
favorite spots on the "Range".
   Birds of note at the Rice Paddies:
   Swan-with yellow lores and rounded forehead border feathering.
   Sandhill crane
   Wilson's Phalaropes-2
   Solitary Sandpipers-2
   L. Yellowlegs-about a dozen
   Bittern
   Sedge wren
   Cliff swallows
   LeCont's Sp. several singing-one seen well in scope.
   snipe
   Sewage Ponds:
   Redhead duck
   Shovellers
   other common ducks
   Osprey-we now have 4 nests within a 10-mile radius of Aurora.
   Fisherman's Pt and HL:
   GH Owlets-2 fluffys on nest
   Blackburnian, Cape May, Nashville, B&W, Pine, Parula, Bl. Th.  
Green, Ovenbird, Palm and Yel. R. Warblers.
   Bl. H. Vireo
   Eve. Grosbeaks
   R. B. Grosbeak
   Etc.
