30 plus Sandhill Cranes flying high and south over my place 
complimented the lovely call of a Phoebe from the trees on the fence line.

Later, while eating lunch we watched a Carolina Wren visit our feeder 
several times. It seemed to be saying, "Where are the meal worms that 
should be in this dish? They were here last winter."
