Again the pond just south of cottonwood trees was full of mallards and  
geese plus

Wood Ducks
Northern Shoveler


Afton Marina

Arrive in time to see a  flock of trumpeter Swans take off the river.

Then saw on the st croix river
lesser scaups
coots
redheads
goldeneyes
buffleheads
8 immature eagles fighting over dead fish on the ice
4 loons
hooded mergansers
