Another sweet day and just a list:

Pileated Woodpecker
Winter Wren
Beautiful Cooper's Hawk again
Chipping Sparrows
Hooded Merganser on the lake
No snipe or woodcocks
No owls
Fox Sparrows galore and Hermit Thrushes and Robins
Many more now regulars for a bit

Dang, I tried to make just a list but the adjectives and flowery just  
came through.  Maybe next time.

I did find a great Chickadee nest in a 2.5 foot stump only 18 inches  
above the ground.  Probably great for photography with a tripod and  
timer.  Wasn't too put off by my walking by and discovering it.  Came  
out of the nest and took off and soon came back with the other bird  
still in the nest.
