I want to apologize, I have been referring to "Goose Lake" as "Gem Lake" in all of my previous posts.? So any? previous post of mine with the subject line stating Gem Lake really means "Goose" Lake specifically the West side of Goose Lake.

Today (04/15/2008) I spent most of the afternoon photographing at the Western Half of Goose Lake (Hwy 61 Splits the Lake.)

At 4 PM I did my last count?of Loons and it was?89 above the water.

Loons took up most of the lake except for the Eastern Edge which?had the following:

Red Breasted Mergansers: 4 Pair
Common Mergansers: 8 Pair
RedHead Duck: 1pr
Ringnecks: To many to count
Bald Eagle: 1
Osprey: 2 ( One Banded, the other not)
Mallards: Many
Wood Ducks: 4 pair that I could see
Ruddy Duck: 1
Am Coots: Many
Great Blue Heron:1
Great Egrets: 3
