Kirsten and I, and our Breckenridge, Mn., friends, Gordon and Artis Martinson, birded River Bend Nature Center Thursday afternoon with interesting results.
 
We saw these species:

Blue-winged Teal - 8
White-rumped Sandpiper
Sora
Green Heron
Wilson's Snipe
Least Sandpiper - 5
Pectoral Sandpiper
Crows - 2
American Goldfinch - 2 males
Cedarwaxwing - at least 6
Lesser Yellowlegs - 3
Greater Yellow Legs - 2
Killdeer - 4
 
The others, than myself, aslso saw a Brown-headed cowbird and a Dunlin,.
