Yesterday we found a Snowy Owl just south of McGregor on CR 8 along with a flock of 25 or so Snow Buntings. There have been both Three-toed and Black-backed Woodpeckers in the bog along Kestrel Ave about 1.5 miles north of Tamarack. Many Pine Grosbeaks, both at our feeder and along the road north of Tamarack. A few Sharp-tailed Grouse are seen on the leks most days and Ruffed Grouse occasionally along the roadsides. We have about 70 - 80 Common Redpolls at the feeder and a few Evening Grosbeaks, although the Evening Grosbeaks have not been coming to the feeder everyday.
