You have gotten a lot of good info on scopes.  National Camera is the best place to start looking. If you purchase a good scope you will also need to purchase a good tripod, like a Bogen. I got a good scope and tried to use my camera  tripod. Bad decision.  By the time it stopped oscillating, the subject bird was in the next county.
