I saw a Townsend's Solitaire Wednesday late morning and today early morning at the same spot on Norell Ave just north of Stillwater. As you head north on Norell Ave (aka hwy 55) from hwy 96 the Stillwater Township Hall is on your right (Norell Ave is Owens St (aka hwy 5) in Stillwater, name changes at hwy 96). Just north of the town hall parking lot is a driveway. Directly across the street from this driveway (the west side of the road) is an oak tree with most of the leaves still attached, the bird has been perched on the top of this tree both times.

Great looks from the Township hall parking lot. Buffy eye ring and wing bars were easily seen.
