Today, at Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area in Anoka county, I saw a pair of Black-Billed Cuckoos. They were hanging out by some of those big, white caterpillar nests that hang from branches. Also today at Carlos Avery ... Olive-Sided Flycatcher, Great-Crested Flycatcher, Veery, Scarlet Tanager, Common Loons, Trumpeter Swan, Sandhill Cranes, Great Blue Herons, Great Egret, and a bunch of Bank Swallows flying in and around a large sandbank they are nesting in.
