There is a very nice article about the 3 Hautman brothers -- Joe Hautman won
the contest last year -- in today's Pioneer Press:

  Subject: [mou] Federal Duck Stamp Contest in Bloomington, MN

  Beginning tomorrow, the 75th annual Federal Duck Stamp art contest will
take place at the Bloomington Art center. The art is on display from 9 a.m.
to 10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m to 2 p.m on Saturday. The opening ceremony
will begin at 10 a.m. Friday with preliminary judging to begin at 10.30;
final judging occurs on Saturday at 10 a.m. and the winnrer will be
announced around 1 p.m. There are 270 entries with 40 Minnesota artists
represented (!!). Five species of waterfowl are portrayed including Northern
Shoveler, Brant (including Black Brant), Canada Goose, Ruddy Duck, and the
Long-tailed Duck (formerly known as Oldsquaw). This is only the second time
in modern times that the duck stamp has occurred outside Washington so for a
once in a generation chance to see this exciting contest come on down to
Bloomington and buy some duck stamps for conservation. Check out the website
http://duckstamps.fws.gov for other associated events.
