Wow! What a morning outside my home office window overlooking several
feeders and my water feature - and I am soooo grateful for the water
feature. within one hour and still occurring is a cornucopia of birds
and even, for me, some exotics. Visiting were a Chestnut-sided
warbler, two Flickers, two Red-Breasted Grosbeaks, a Summer Tanager,
some thrushes to be later identified by my pics, Redstarts,
Nashvilles, Tennesees, a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, a vireo later
to be IDed by photo, a Wilson's Warbler, and then the usuals, unique
today only that they were intensely intermingled with these exotics
all at the same time - pair of Hairy Woodpeckers, many, many robins,
chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, Goldfinches, White-Breasted Nuthatches,
many plain warblers hopefully to be IDed by pic later (my camera is
still downloading with over 250 attempted pics with a slow digital
camera - very frustrating) and many more birds coming and going not
long enough for me to ID. What a glorious morning!
