This evening's bike ride yielded some nice finds:

Franklin's gulls: I swung by Lake Nokomis main beach (a local gull
hang-out). 8 Franklin's with the usual ring-billeds. Nothing like the
600 reported over Best Buy and Wood Lake today, but very accessible
and they were stationary. I'd expect them to be back on the beach
tomorrow morning when it's empty of human traffic.

Am. Pipits: Next stop was the airport gravel lots (77th St and
Airport Lane) which had 6 Am pipits with a flock of about 30 horned
larks and about 15 killdeer.

N. Pintails, Bonaparte's gulls: at Long Meadow Lake/Bass Ponds (just
E of 77). At least 6 pintails mixed in with hundreds of mallards,
scores of widgeons, handfuls of teals, ...

Overall a great metro bike ride, bringing my BGBY total to 196. 200 a
possibility??
