Uncommon in St. Louis County in the Spring season

Found by Juliann Grahn in spruce/tamarack bog along Lind Rd west of State Highway 73 in Northern St Louis County. Similar to black-capped chickadee but with brown cap and flanks. Wings, tail and nape of neck are gray and the overall look is darker than black-capped chickadee. Call is is more wheezy and nasal sounding then black-capped chickadee.
