Occasional in Beltrami County in the Spring season
Bird was buried in a willow along the west bank of the Mississippi River, right on the north side of the old historic midway bridge. Possibly seen by BSU students first but the information came via Dr. Hiller of the Wildlife Department at BSU who saw it today. MOU may say "regular" in Beltrami but last noted on Ebird for Beltrami in a 1994 sighting by Doug Johnson. Janssen shows no spring sightings for Beltrami. It was there for at least an hour, then was missing for a spell but was found there once again about 5:30 p.m. Friday evening. Still there when folks left.
