Nashville Warbler in Washington County
2011-09-16

Common in Washington County in the Fall season

We banded several Nashville warblers at Carpenter Nature Center on Friday. There were varying amounts of the hard-to-see red crown feathers. Some were very obvious, some had none, and the one shown here was in between. Adult males typically have more obvious crown feathers. Juvenile females usually have none.
