Cattle Egret in Rice County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Cattle egret - first found by Kathy Thom. Seen on Elmore Ave just north of CR 13 (on the north shore of Cannon Lake)- First farm on the west side of Elmore Ave. Rice Co. The bird was fixated on the cows. He was with them when they were in a feedlot. When they went into the barn he flew to this wall next to the barn to be with them.
