Spruce Grouse in Lake County

Uncommon in Lake County in the Summer season

Spruce Grouse chick along Snake Trail in Lake Co MN. Hen had at least 2 chicks. Only 4 inches tall but could really fly! Chicks flew well over my head from tree to tree across the road. Really gorgeous plumage too.
