'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Adult Thayer's Gull. While chumming gulls at the Superior Entry with Jim Lind a adult Thayer's Gull flew from the Minnesota side towards us on the Wisconsin side of the entry. Later on we observed the Thayer's Gull resting on the Minnesota side of the break wall with several Herring Gulls and Ring-billed Gulls. Kim Eckert who was leading a MBW arrived with other birders and they also observed the gull as it flew back and forth across the Superior Entry.
