Occasional in Hubbard County in the Summer season

I was very surprised to see these two Red Crossbills land in my water feature this morning. So surprised I almost spit out my coffee as I dropped everything and ran for my camera!! These birds are pretty darn uncommon in Minnesota in the summer time, so I am very pleased to have gotten to see them - and even snagged a few photos! Kabekona Lake, Laporte, MN
