Who We Are

The Austin Audubon Society was started in 1971 and is a chapter in the National Audubon Society. We help to promote the programs and activities of the J C Hormel Nature Center. We participate in the Christmas bird count on the Sunday before Christmas an d hold a Birdathon on the Saturday before Mother's Day in addition to other field trips.
