This chart represents the cumulative number of sightings reported to the MOU on-line seasonal report.

Choose a bird species from the select box on the right. This will trigger the generation of a chart, though there may be a delay while the map is created and sent to your browser.

This data is influenced by several factors, including the number of birders in the field, the number of birders reporting their observations, and the manner in which observational data is reported. It cannot, therefore, be considered representative of the actual number of birds in the state at any specific time.

You can determine early and late migration dates for most species. When the number of records is increasing, the birds have been recently reported. When the graph shows a flat, horizontal line, no birds have been reported.
