This is the Duluth Birding Report for June 9th, 2016 sponsored by the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union.

An ORCHARD ORIOLE was found on the 3rd by John Richardson at the Park Point Recreation Area. It was seen again on the 4th. Ben Anderson saw a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at the recreation area on the 5th.

Larry and Jan Kraemer saw a RED-THROATED LOON on the 7th at parking lot #1 on Wisconsin Point.

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD at Lighthouse Point in Two Harbors was still present on the 7th.

The next scheduled update of this report will be in two weeks on or about Thursday, June 23rd.
