This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, September 4th 2008.
A WHITE-TAILED KITE was seen on the 29th near Ortonville in Big Stone County. It was seen briefly just north of the intersection of state highway 7 and U.S. Highway 12. No further sightings have been reported.
On the 4th, a juvenile yellow-crowned night-heron was reported from along Minnehaha Creek in south Minneapolis. It was on the shore just east of the bridge at 31st Avenue South.
