On April 9 Chuck Krulas and I were looking in a cow pen for Brewer's =
Blackbird when we both heard the Coo-Ca-Coooo of the Eurasian Collared =
Dove behind us. We looked back and there in a tree about 50 feet from us =
was the EUCD. I took pictures of the bird. It was facing toward us so I =
got good shots through my scope of the black markings underneath the =
tail. If you would like to look at the photos go to my WEB page at =
www.geocities.com/jjeffstephenson . At last reports the EUCD is still =
there and some have even seen the Brewer's there too. To find the bird =
go from Claremont on U.S. Highway 14 and take the=20
paved road running north for about 2.5 miles, passing the gravel pits on =
your right. The bird was located in the trees at the northeast corner of =
the intersection of the gravel road right after the gravel pits.
