Birded Sunday through northern half of Winona County:

1 BLACK DUCK, 1 REDHEAD, 2 RUDDY DUCKS and 5 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS at
Lewiston Sewage Ponds.

1 OSPREY at Beaver spring ponds along County Road 30. Eight raptor
species for the day.

1 TUFTED TITMOUSE and 1 PEREGRINE FALCON at Latsch State Park.

1 EASTERN TOWHEE in roadside brush in farm country.

Est. 250 LAPLAND LONGSPURS just east of Utica along U.S. Highway 14.
