At dusk this evening, I saw a bird that resembled a scissor-tailed =
flycatcher. I heard it first - a bird call I was not familiar with =
(single call - repeated about 15 seconds apart). I didn't see it until =
it flew from the tree. What I saw was a bird about cardinal size (no =
distinct colors or markings seen) with an extremely long, split tail =
with faint white markings. It flew north from an ash tree. Location: =
residential neighborhood 1/2 mile southwest of Jefferson High School in =
Bloomington.
