Sandpiper- 310, Short-billed Dowitchers-54 and Lesser Yellowlegs- 1272.
As Fall approaches, the numbers of the shorebirds are increasing.

Glacial Ridge Project Headquarters as well as a colony of Bank Swallows
along the Sandhill River. She also saw at Agassiz Dunes Lark Sparrows,
Grasshopper Sparrows, Clay-colored Sparrows, and a Field Sparrow. These
birds were all found in Polk County.
Peder Svingen saw 3 Henslow's Sparrows 2 miles east and 1.2 miles North
of the intersection of Polk Co. 49 and MN 32. These birds were found in
Red Lake Co.
