This a.m. (13th), a flock of 35 Common Redpolls feeding in birch trees =
in Lebanon Hills Park, Eagan. Directions: South on Hiway 3 (Roberts =
Trail) to 120th St. West. Turn right (west) and continue 1/4 mile to =
Dodd Road. Then continue about 0.5 mile to trail on right. It's not well =
marked. If you come to a driveway on your left you went about 100 yards =
too far. Hike north on trail to "T" (about 1/4 mi.). Go right about 150 =
yards and check out the birches on your right. They seemed pretty intent =
on feeding in this area so they may stick around.
