This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday June 12th.

A fly-by, basic plumage RED-THROATED LOON was seen June 7th in 
Section 32 of Moulton Township, Murray County. It did not land and 
was not seen again.

Unusual was the female HARLEQUIN DUCK seen at Two Harbors, Lake 
County on the 1st. It was found at Agate Bay but not reported until 
the 6th.

A Basic-plumaged CINNAMON TEAL is being seen at the 140th Street 
Marsh in Rosemont, Dakota County. Directions to the marsh are: from 
U.S. Highway 52, take the County Road 42 exit then go east about one 
quarter of a mile to the first left. Drive this road, (which becomes 
140th Street), for about a mile.

A CATTLE EGRET was seen by Sylvia Winkleman on the 7th along Stearns 
County 146 about a quarter of a mile west of highway 15.

On the 11th, a pair of BLUE GROSBEAKS was found a few miles southwest 
of Chandler in Murray County. Take county road 4 west from Chandler 
to 40th Avenue. Turn left and in a quarter of a mile look for a small 
grove of Cottonwood trees on the right.

A male HOODED WARBLER was seen on June 12th along Scott County 51 
about a mile north of the LeSueur County line near the town of 
Henderson.
