Here are some recent arrivals and departures at the mud along the point =
at Morgan Park:

Today: Black-bellied Plover- 1
American Golden-Plover- 3 (Chris Elmgren first spotted one =
here last Saturday) =20
              Semipalmated Plover- 1
               Lesser Yellowlegs-2
              Stilt Sandpiper- 2
              Semipalmated Spp- 20
              Least Spp- 2

As of yesterday (Monday) there were still 6 Baird's Spp's, and 20 Stilt =
Spp's, along with 6 Semipalm. Plovers. The flats were greatly reduced =
in size today because of northerly winds causing the water to back up =
in Spirit Lake. It's quite possible there are more shorebirds around in =
other isolated bays of Spirit Lake.
