Chuck Krulas and I observed 2 Brown....American White Pelicans at Lake =
Byllesby today around 4PM. They were still there when we left. Neither =
he nor I have ever observed this plumage before. And neither Sibley or =
National Geographic field guides show this plumage. I don't think they =
were just dirty. I took an out of focus picture of one and you can =
easily see the color contrast with the white pelicans beside it. I can't =
