This is the Duluth Birding Report for Wednesday, April 28, 2004, 
sponsored by the Minnesota Ornithologists. Union.

Chris Elmgren reported a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD north of Duluth on the 
22nd, but the bird has not been seen since last weekend.

Three birding events are coming up in the next month in Northeastern 
Minnesota: On May 8th and 9th, the Down by the Water Festival, 
sponsored by Duluth Audubon--for more info write 
info@duluthaudubon.org; on May 22nd the Hawk Ridge Birdathon--for more 
info write sdgrossh@d.umn.edu; and June 4-6, the Boreal Birding 
Festival in Grand Marais, for more info see
