To those who inquired:
Arriving into Prescott, WI, from Minnesota via Hi 10, turn right at first opportunity (Jefferson St.). Take your first right (Orange St.) and then your first left onto river Front Street. Shortly, take first right into parking area next to new giant apartment building (Yuck). You will see boat marina in front of apartment buildiing. Look for goldeneyes. Start sorting. Also several Cackling Geese present today.
To Freedom Park for the Long-tailed Duck, continue south along Jefferson St. for about 1/2 mile and watch for small sign for park entrance. The male Long-tailed Duck was working the ice adjacent to the Wisconsin side of the river. It was among the right-most aggregation of ducks visible from the park. Eagles often rile up these birds causing them to fly into MN, so be patient.
Good luck
