[mou] Great Gray Owl, Carver County

Just before 11:00 the bird flew into trees on the east side and disappeared
from sight.  I presume going to roost as it was getting fairly light at the
time.  Also the bird had caught at least one mouse, etc and was probably not
so hungry.  The marsh is just north of the intersection and covers both
sides of the Baveria.  The owl was on both sides at different times and
looks like a candidate for a car collision as it crosses the road about 4
feet over it and there is a fair amount of traffic on the road.  You should
not have to get out of your car to see it.
