I made a ooops when I read the dragonfly meeting. Its for 2005 eeeks =
sorry. I plan on attending this event and it sounds like a blast!

The Rainy River Valley Field Naturalists are proud to be sponsoring=20
the Great Lake Odonata Meeting for 2005. Attached is information. A=20
website should be up this week. Kurt Mead and Bob Dubois have agreed=20
to present. If you havea paper or want to present, let us know.=20
Registration forms are in the process of being developed and will be=20
available on the website.

The Rainy River District has a variety of habitats that will make=20
for interesting and exciting sightings field collection. There are=20
close to 80 species of dragonflies and 10 damsels in the district.=20
The possibility exists to find unrecorded species for this area.

July 13: 4:00 to 6:00 PM - Registration and check in at Trails End=20
Lodge on Clearwater Lake. Dinner and Social.

July 14: Field Day - Divide into groups and survey sites in district=20
for odonates. In-the-field learning experiences.

July 15: Field Day - Divide into groups and survey sites in district=20
for odonates. In-the field learning experiences. Evening banquet and=20
presentations on odonates.

July 16: Morning tour of sites near lodge. Afternoon tour Kay-Nah-
Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre, survey river on site for odonates,=20
evening meal and presentations at centre.

July 17: 10:00 - 3:00 - Community Dragonfly Day at park in Emo,=20
Ontario. Learn/teach about dragons and damsels. Depart for home.

Registration Fees - $450.00 Canadian Funds based on 25 participants.
Includes accommodations, meals, (5 days, 4 nights), transportation,=20
entry fees to historical center and taxes.

Registration with 50% payment due by November 1, 2004
