[mou] Bobolink question

Since February have been living in a former agricultural area/grassland, =
and have been blessed with Bobolinks, Meadowlarks, =
Grasshopper/Savannah/Clay-colored Sparrows, and a single Dickcissel =
among other species this spring and summer.
(All prior backyard birding experience was in Madison, WI - had to =
travel an hour to see many of the above species while living there - so =
grassland species habits are not yet my forte.)
On Monday noticed 15 Bobolinks flocking together in the early AM - and =
haven't seen a single Bobolink since.
Is it possible that they are departing this early? Any other =
explanations?
