I just spoke with the landowner of the property that surrounds the =
pothole that the Ruff has been in for the last several days. He says =
that it is fine for birders to cross his land to find the bird.
Nate Thomas phoned and says that the Ruff is still at the same location =
as of this morning. The pothole is more or less divided into a west half =
and an east half. The bird seems to spend most time on the west shore of =
the east half of the pothole. The bird is very flighty and will not =
tolerate close approach.
