This morning (Friday, November 19, 2004 @ 9:15 a.m. I found a Northern
Mockingbird in the north central part of Murray County, MN. The bird was
seen from Murray County Road 30 just north of where it crosses between Lake
Maria and Lake Sarah. The bird was in the trees next to the south -
southeastern shore of Lake Maria west of Co Rd 30 - more precisely west of
Co Rd 30 where 221st street intersects Co Rd 30. Key I.D. points were a
larger bird - gray above & white below, large white patches on darker wings,
and a long black tail with white edges.
