Hello:
Here are the weekends for the Owl Survey.
December 11-12
January 8-9
February 12-13
March 12-13
This way people will be able to choose whether Sat. or Sun. works better =
for them, or if bad weather does not allow for a survey to be conducted.
Each survey will be done at these times: 1) 7-10am or 2) 2-5pm. This =
should allow for a person or team to do more than 1 survey route/day.
It should be noted, however, that if a person/team wants to do more than =
the designated survey route, by all means, please do it. If so, the =
person/team will need to record where/what/ect. of any extra searching =
they do.
The counties that survey routes will be designated include: Cook, Lake, =
St. Louis, Carlton, Aitkin, Itasca, Koochiching, Beltrami, Lake of the =
Woods, and Roseau. Dave fully expects that not all routes identified =
will be covered in each county. That is why we need a group of willing =
volunteers to at least get each county surveyed.
When Dave is completed with the data sheet I can scan it and and send =
via email or we can mail it to your house.
So far I am getting a good response of volunteers and I would like to =
get some volunteers willing to survey the following counties: =
Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Beltrami, and Roseau.=20
