I've gotten a number of replies regarding the bird identification I
requested off of my website. House Sparrows! Some felt it was a male and a
female and some felt they were both males. I wonder why I've never seen
them in our yard before. We have 20 acres and our home sits on a yard
surrounded on two sides by a lot of pine trees and surrounded on the other
two sides by field. Are House Sparrows more inclined to be city birds?
Thank you to everyone who replied. It is so frustrating when you can't
identify a bird. I've only been doing this for a little over a year and
there is SO MUCH to learn :-)
