4:15pm
Tonight, Doug Keiser, and I observed the kittiwake from a distance of at least 2/3 mile from the causeway near power plant. It was in with 150 gulls and, even at this distance, stood out like a sore thumb. At 4:40pm it flew to east lake and roosted with about 500 gulls. At one point, it was about 1 ft. away from 2 adult Glaucous Gulls. Likely to be viewable again in the morning at the usual spots near the west outlet.
