It has been a while, but I just posted the images noted in the "Subject" =
line. Look in the album "New Images" and they will be in the album =
called "Most Recent Images".Hope you enjoy them? The pheasants were a =
serendipitous treat. I had just parked my car and was about to get out =
and put on my boots to go and photograph some wild turkeys. I just =
happened to look in the trees in the gulley below and there they sat, a =
male and female. Down below them were three more females on the ground.=20
If you are interested in looking for the pheasants, they were located in =
Rochester off Circle Drive (CR22). If coming from HWY 14, go north on 22 =
and as soon as you cross over 41st look to your left and there is a =
farmer's field. It ends with a row of trees. The row parallel and =
closest to 22 is where they were hanging out and eating berries. If you =
go up a short distance, there is a turn-around that you can use to head =
south and pull off on to the shoulder. When you do, look down in the =
gully in the trees nearest and parallel to 22..
Best wishes for a safe and enjoyable holiday to all, and good success in =
both birding and photographing.
