I made GPS marks as I saw owls on our trip to Aitkin county on 3/1.  =
Maps of where we found owls are available at:

The dotted line is the route that we took.  Each number is a waypoint =
number.  The first is 269 and the last 328, 59 total owls, all Great =
Gray Owls except 2 Northern Hawk Owls. =20

Also seen was one Rough-legged Hawk and several Bald Eagles. =20

The greatest concentration of owls was on county 4, 5 mi West of Hwy 65. =
 Whe saw as many as 8 owls at one time.
