Today my husband and I looked for migrants in these two counties. We
observed a total of 17 duck species.
Martin County
Greater White-fronted Goose (There had to he over 50 - I didn't count)
on Pierce Lake
Cackling Goose
15 species of ducks
Bald Eagle
Northern Harrier
Harris's Sparrow
Meadowlark Species
Wantonwan County
14 species of ducks - all on Kansas Lake and St. James Lake
Northern Harrier
Sandhill Crane
